Happy Sunday everyone,
We’re loving that the sun is still with us and summer feels here to stay.
Our PS round-up that we have put together for you this week, we have shared some little bright stars we have found along our wedding planning travels, it’s a post full of possibilities and little smiles.
We hope you find a little inspiration on today’s journal page.
Have a great week and as always keep it fancy.
Last year wandering through Shoreditch, I met a wonderful Illustrator called Ros Shires. Her stall was packed with lots of amazing work, framed prints, greeting cards and exquisite wrapping tape.
I came away with a few lovely items that day…
Ros is a typography artisan, I adore her selected inspiring quotes and beautiful unique hand drawings and the way she pieces them together so eloquently.
I used one of her prints for a couples e-shoot I shot with Polly Alexandre last year. The words were just so incredibly dreamy and summed up what true love is all about with a few Beatles lyrics thrown in, you just can’t go wrong.
So if your loving what you’re seeing make sure you stop by Ros’s website, she also takes on commissions if you want to create your very own design for your wedding visit her commissions page.
Next week we launch our new series on wedding venues and feature a few of our favourite venues in London Town.
Here are a few images of places and spaces…
We caught up with the lovely Victoria from Fred & Ginger this week, who wanted me to pass on to all the lovely Love Scarlett readers that they have a delectable 20% off their entire bridal collection.
The collection is handmade in the UK and 100% silk and chantilly lace are used so these designs are utterly heavenly.
So if you are still looking for that special lingerie for your day visit Fred & Ginger’s website and as you go to checkout enter BRIDAL20 to receive this ever so lovely discount.
It’s so lovely to find new talented suppliers and twitter is great for the Love Scarlett team meeting new friends.
A few weeks ago we tweeted out our “track of the day” which was the utterly fabulous Babyshambles Killamangiro.
And a little tweet came in from Peaches & Queen, appreciating our choice of track. As soon as we saw the wonderful twitter handle we had to find out more so we popped across to their website and loved the retro and vintage inspired stationery designs.
We will be featuring an interview with Mandy the designer and owner of Peaches & Queen and some of her designs next week on PS so stay tuned.
Our very last shout out…

If you are looking for a stunning wedding venue with beautiful interiors, period details and immaculate gardens look no further than Hedsor House.
Set in the Buckinghamshire countryside, and just 40 minutes west of central London, this venue really does provide a stunning backdrop for your wedding day.
They are opening the house for a wedding showcase on Wednesday 14th August from 5.0pm to 8.00pm, to book your appointment to attend this exclusive showcase please visit their website or call 01628 819050.
I planned a wedding at the venue in 2011 for 500 guests and was blown away by the venue and the amazing team on hand to assist in the lead up and on the day. This really is a very special venue.
