Bright Star

Last year Love Scarlett partner Eddie Judd introduced me to Cakes by Krishanthi, when we were working on a shoot together for Love Scarlett.

I was searching for a cake with a truly bohemian feel and had looked around but hadn’t found anything that excited me.

So when Eddie sent me the link to Krishanthi’s website , my eyes were met with a visual feast of creativity and unique designs that captivated me I happily skipped with a light heart through the pages and I then saw this…

And was stopped quickly in my tracks, those oh so “real looking ” wildflowers, the tree stump cake stand, and those v fluffy and incredibly handsome owls.

Had she read my mind?

I wanted this wild whimsical cake to be part of our shoot so much, but unfortunately it was already booked so we didn’t get to feature it.

I often go back to Krishanti’s site, just to look at it and let out a little sigh, it feels like the one that got away.

But as always every cloud has a silver lining and that was we got to meet this outrageously talented and creative cake designer and were able to share her work with you.

As you know we were over the moon to find out we were selected by Perfect Wedding Magazine for a wedding award for “Best Wedding Blog” We are so very proud to have been nominated and are still pinching ourselves!
