Passionate foodie David Wolanski is the founder of award winning, boutique catering company the-recipe. Formed in 2005 the-recipe has built its reputation on providing the highest level of food, beverage & service at events.
A born and bred Londoner, he studied Hospitality Business Management studies in Leeds and went on to manage Michelin star restaurants for Marco Pierre before getting itchy feet and wanting to start something of his own. Café Soho was his first foray into business and became the go-to place for the media & music moguls of the West End.
Since the-recipe was born it has won Caterer of The Year in both 2007, 2010 & 2012 and built an enviable client base of high end fashion, media & celebrity clients looking to bring that extra edge to their events. When not working you’ll find David snowboarding or developing his Disco Bistro brand which was responsible for the highly regarded East London pop up restaurants, English Launderette, Rock Lobsta & God Save The Clam.
