The Supernova of Millinery

On my endless quest to find new talent, imagine my surprise when an email introduction popped in to Tigerlily’s inbox from Monique Luttin showcasing her fabulous collection of millinery.Monique creates a combination of bespoke objects for private clients, and ready-to-wear hand-blocked berets, headbands and accessories.
Monique formerly trained as an Architect in Melbourne, Australia, with a passion for craft and an eye for detail. In 2003, Monique relocated to London where she continued to indulge her creative ambitions and in 2006/07 completed two short courses in Millinery at the London College of Fashion. With this transition from the drawing board to the cutting board, Monique’s focus shifted to a smaller scale of construction where she takes joy in the almost cathartic ritual of transforming her ideas into objects of beauty.
The quality of her bespoke creations is a reflection of her craft, precision and the passion with which they are both imagined and fashioned. Her architectural training is evident in the form, context and structure of her designs.
So for super stylish millinery check out her beautiful collection at Monique Luttin Millinery
