Oh What a Night

I could hardly contain my excitement Thursday as I was sooooo looking forward to spending the evening with all my brides and having a fun packed evening of make up, cupcakes and fizz.
The evening started with a make up demonstration by Lisa Potter-Dixon, who discussed wedding make up trends and shared lots of great beauty tips and secrets on how to be a glowing and flawless bride for the big day.

The brides had a great time trying out blue and plum mascara, this sounds very 80’s I know but these colours looked amazing and really accentuate your eye colour and are a great alternative to black.
All the brides had a personal make over and overview provided with all the products and colours used for them to refer back to and were very spoilt as Benefit also kindly put another make up lesson free in every Tigerlily goodie bag.

The event was captured by the talented Tim Bowden who was also on hand to answer all photography questions for brides - it was also a great opportunity for them to meet the man behind the lens and view his fabulous wedding portfolio.

Marianne Johnson from Sweet Pea Flowers provided the most divine table centre, it was made up of 50 sugar pink avalanche roses on a cream vintage cake stand and was stunning. The brides were able to leaf through her vast portfolio and discuss flower trends and seasonal flowers to their heart’s content.
Natalie Leon from Passionate About Vintage had an amazing selection of vintage bags, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and headbands for the brides to try on and was advising on how to accessorise for your wedding day.
It was lovely for all of the brides to get together and have an evening discussing all things wedding and leave with a fabulous goodie bag filled with make up, chocolates and other treats.

Thank you everybody for coming and a special thank you to my fantastic fellow professionals for helping me put on such a fabulous event for Tigerlily Brides.
